Transmission Oil
This is the easy way to install your transmission oil. Heck, it's an easy way to run anything through these bottles, since the caps are universal. Just make yourself a cap, tighten it on the bottle, and cut the bottom off of the bottle and you're good to go -- you have an excellent funnel now. Pore your tranny oil through your funnel and it's as easy as 1-2-3 and no clean up required.
Through the funnel was pored SAE 30 non-detergent oil.

20/50? Straight 30W. There isn't any need for a dual viscosity oil here, and, the thinner oil can foam up.

Paul,
I used SAE 30 non-detergent oil -- Yamalube brand. The bottle you see pictured is actually a home-made funnel.

Jeremy,
Do you use the same fluid for the motor oil as the tranny? I was thinking about using this for both: http://www.scooterworks.com/Oil_Engine_SAE_30_P2433C214.cfm

I have used an empty 'squeezey' washing-up detergent bottle, that I had thoroughly cleaned out, to put transmission oil in my vespa.
Fill up the bottle, put the nozzle in the filler hole and squeeze.
Motor oil and Tranny oil are different. 2-stroke for motor and standard SAE 20 non-detergent (4-stroke) oil for tranny.
